The History Channel is a TV channel dedicated exclusively to History. It is one of the most prestigious and known names in international television and the most valued brand for the public among cable networks in Latin America.

Its Entertainment proposal is present in more than 230 million homes, in 130 countries around the World and it broadcasts in 30 languages, covering more than 15 million households in all Latin America.

Internet media

For a leading TV channel like The History Channel, Internet has become a key part of their business. THC found itself with the need of having distinctive technology to be able to be side by side with the public along this new digital life.

For its on-line strategy, it is about offering more and better services to its user's community, from customer service and interaction to setting program alerts by email or SMSs, to multimedia contents which complement broadcasted programs, contents generated by the same community, on-line videos, and activities coordinated with the TV signal, which represent themselves new digital business for the channel.
